Graphic Designer - London / Full time

We are looking for a Graphic Designer who delights in finding imaginative solutions for complex problems, and is a team player who will be an integral member of the Graphic Design team and be able to produce eye catching layouts, have an excellent understanding of typography and a keen eye for detail. You should be confident in preparing documents for print and have an understanding of digital processes.

You will deliver creative design projects across a wide variety of platforms, working alongside a team of passionate and driven graphic designers.

1. Production of large reports, either designed independently, or taken from an existing concept
2. Producing illustrative maps
3. Design and co-ordination of public exhibitions and publicity material
4. Touching up images in photoshop
5. Preparing material from staff structure diagrams to publicity flyers
6. Producing powerpoint presentations
7. Annotating plans to accompany planning application.

The role will involve working to tight deadlines.

You must have a proven track record as an exceptional creative talent, demonstrating ability across a broad spectrum of work.

You will:
1. hold at least a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Graphic Design or similar and three years’ relevant experience
2. have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build on good relationships with in-house staff and suppliers, playing a very important role in the creative output of the graphic design team at Lichfields.
3. have a proven understanding and demonstration of the importance of deadlines, budget constraints and quality control
4. be bold, inquisitive and confident – we like people who have a thirst for knowledge and believe in what they do
5. possess good photography skills and an interest in the built environment
6. have advance Software Skills in InDesign, in addition to:
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- Powerpoint
